Flocked articles and products are coated with a layer of “flock”, an English term that evokes the soft and light consistency of the fibres used in flocking processes.
Flock is made of various types of fibres such as nylon, rayon, viscose or cotton. The flock used depends on the aesthetic effect one wants to create or the function the flock has to perform, and comes in different sizes and colours.
In the 3-D flocking processes in which it is specialised, Pama uses different sized flock that ranges from a few tenths of a millimetre to a couple of millimetres. Pama’s customers can also choose the shades that suit their requirements from an exceptionally wide range of colours.
